Plain-English version: we collect the bare minimum, we never sell your data, and you can delete your stuff any time.

The Short Version: When you join the waitlist, we collect your email and which Toyota truck you own. We use that to send you launch updates and to tailor the product. That's it. We don't sell, rent, or share your info with advertisers.
Yota Hub ("Yota Hub," "we," "us," "our") is a digital community platform for Toyota truck owners, currently operating as a waitlist at theyotahub.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information of visitors and waitlist members.
If you complete the optional profile, that data is stored in your browser's local storage so the demo Garage dashboard can display it. It does not leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs basic technical info like IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is industry-standard and used to keep the site running and prevent abuse. We do not use this data for advertising.
We will never use your information to send unrelated promotions, and we will never sell or rent it.
We work with these service providers to run the site. They process your information solely on our behalf:
We do not sell or trade your personal information to anyone for any purpose.
The launch site does not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics that follow you across the web. We may add privacy-respecting analytics later (such as Plausible or Fathom). If we do, we will update this policy first.
We keep waitlist email addresses until you ask us to delete them or until two years after launch, whichever comes first. Profile data stored in your browser stays on your device until you clear it.
Wherever you live, you can:
To exercise any of these rights, email wadup@theyotahub.com and we'll handle it within a reasonable time (typically a few business days).
If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we have, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of any "sale" of your data. We do not sell your personal information.
If you're in the EU or UK, our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (when you submit the waitlist form) and our legitimate interest in operating the service. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Yota Hub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. The site uses HTTPS encryption, and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) provides industry-standard security. That said, no online service is perfectly secure, so we encourage strong, unique passwords and good email hygiene on your end too.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and email waitlist members. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new policy.
Privacy questions, deletion requests, or anything else — reach us at wadup@theyotahub.com. We're a small team and we read every email.
